November 17-23 is International Fraud Awareness Week. Internal Audit is joining the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners in the global effort to minimize the impact of fraud by promoting anti-fraud awareness and education. Take a moment to learn how to be a fraud fighter. While Internal Audit performs routine audits which are not focused on fraud; they also maintain the County’s mechanisms for reporting concerns of potential government fraud, waste, or abuse and follow up as deemed appropriate.
