International Fraud Awareness Week
November 17-23 is International Fraud Awareness Week. Internal Audit is joining the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners in the global effort to minimize the impact of fraud by promoting anti-fraud awareness and education. Take a moment to learn how to be a fraud fighter. While Internal Audit performs routine audits which are not focused on fraud; they also maintain the County’s mechanisms for reporting concerns of potential government fraud, waste, or abuse and follow up as deemed appropriate.

- Human Resources: Cookies, Cocoa & Cider – Wednesday, Nov. 20 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Western Gov’t Center, HR Admin Courtyard
- Sheriff: Pictures with Santa: Sunday, Nov. 24 from 1-5 p.m. at the Henrico Training Center
- Police: David Ortiz Autographed Baseball Silent Auction – through Friday, Nov. 22
December Events
- Finance: Bake/Cookie Celebration – Wednesday, Dec. 4 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Western Gov’t Center, Finance Admin Conf. Room
- Public Relations Burger Bash: Thursday, Dec. 5 from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. at the Henrico Training Center
- General Services: Red & Green Bake Sale – Thursday, Dec. 12 at 11 a.m., until all is sold out, at Western Gov’t Center, Cafe 1611
