Team Henrico

Team Henrico was created to allow like-minded employees to team up and participate in fitness-based local community events.  Encouraging co-workers to get together and be active is one small way that Henrico shows an investment in employees.  We also routinely put our money where our mouth is by providing financial discounts for the fitness events that we participate in.  Being part of Team Henrico does not mean you have to participate in the events, we pride ourselves on also being the biggest cheerleaders for those co-workers that are participating in the events.

Join Team Henrico for the CarMax Tacky Light Run on Saturday, Dec. 14! Experience a festive 6K walk or run through Midlothian’s Walton Park neighborhood, where dazzling holiday lights and decorations will surround you. This family-friendly event is perfect for all ages, so grab your holiday attire and get ready to celebrate!

  • Full-time and permanent part-time employees of Henrico County and HCPS are eligible for discounted registration.

Train For Team Henrico With Us! 

Join Run Fit, Walk Fit with Ayse Mazicioglu, Monday evenings 4:45-5:45 pm. 

During cold or inclement weather, we meet at the Henrico Training Center.  During warm weather, we meet at the Police Memorial on the corner of Prince Henry Drive and Elvin Cosby Way. 

Bring water and a good pair of walking or running shoes.
