Announcements

Parking Adjustment on Monday, May 12.

On Monday, May 12, the Henrico Police Division will hold its annual memorial service at the Police Memorial on the Western Government Center campus. To accommodate the service, several rows of parking in the Police Memorial lot and in the Administration Building lot will be reserved for attendees. Please see the map below. The service is expected to end by noon and the rows will reopen for employees to use thereafter.

Employees are asked to move all vehicles from the areas marked on the map by the end of today, Friday, May 9. Thank you for your support of the memorial service.

May is Internal Audit Month

Did you know the County’s Office of Internal Audit performs reviews of General Government and Schools processes, financial records, and technology to recommend improvements and help ensure compliance with requirements? They also manage the County’s hotline mechanisms for reporting concerns of potential fraud, waste, or abuse in our local government and schools operations. For more information, see Internal Audit’s pages on the County Internet site or intranet site, check out their video on the Henrico County Government YouTube Channel, or reach out to your local friendly auditor.

Henrico CASA’s 5th annual Home for Good® event is here!

The 2025 Home for Good® playhouses will be on display through Sunday, May 11 at Libbie Mill Library and Short Pump Town Center. Every $10 donation to Henrico CASA gives you a chance to win one of the seven luxury playhouses. These whimsical structures are a dream come true, waiting to find their happily ever after with their winners. Donate to win now

The playhouses, built by local professionals, bring to life the theme Enchanted Childhoods. This theme reminds us that, sadly, not every child’s story reads like a fairytale. The up to 400 children served by Henrico CASA each year have faced abuse and neglect, a far cry from the carefree childhood they deserve. With CASA’s advocacy, these children’s stories will end with safety and stability — a true happily ever after.

Help CASA continue to build safe, healthy homes for Henrico’s children. Learn more & donate to win here
