About Health Coaching

Health Coaching is a partnership between the employee and the Fitness/Wellness Division, aimed at developing a personalized health plan. Staff Health Coaches play a vital role in helping employees stay on track and providing guidance throughout their health journey. This approach bridges the gap between healthcare and health behaviors, offering motivation, education, and goal setting to assist employees in adopting and maintaining healthy lifestyles.

The coaching process focuses on preventive strategies to encourage healthy behavior, including improvements in diet and nutrition, physical activity, stress management, sleep hygiene, and social well-being. By addressing these key aspects of health, the goal is to prevent serious illness and chronic conditions, such as diabetes, hypertension, cancer and mental health challenges like anxiety and burnout. This holistic approach empowers employees to take charge of their health, ultimately fostering a healthier and more sustainable lifestyle.
