Henrico CASA’s annual Home for Good Playhouse Event Begins

Playhouses are a visual reminder that childhood should be carefree, without abuse or neglect. That’s why Henrico CASA is hosting its 5th annual Home for Good® playhouse event this spring to coincide with Child Abuse Prevention Month.

Local builders  and Henrico CTE students are hard at work crafting  seven luxury playhouses to be showcased from April 25 to May 11. These unique playhouses will be on display both online and in person at Short Pump Town Center and Libbie Mill Library. While each playhouse has its own distinctive design, they all share the theme “Enchanted Childhoods” — a reminder that, for the up to 400 children Henrico CASA serves each year, childhood has not always been a fairytale.
