August ’26 Henrico Police Hiring Event
Are you looking to make a difference every day? Then look no further than the Henrico County Police Division!
Henrico Police is hosting a Hiring Event on Saturday, Aug. 29, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Henrico County Training Center (7721 E. Parham Road) adjacent to the Public Safety Building.
This is an opportunity to learn about our agency’s role within the county which includes providing innovative and collaborative police services for a safe and thriving Henrico.
We are currently hiring for our 88th Basic Police Academy (BPA) (no experience required) and 18th Modified Police Academy (experience required). New police recruits have a starting salary of $65,959; Virginia DCJS and Out-of-State certified police officers may be eligible for a higher salary depending upon experience.
WHAT TO BRING:
If you plan on attending the job fair, please bring two of the following items with you:
- Driver’s License
- Passport
- Social Security Card
- Birth Certificate
You’re also encouraged to bring your highest level of education transcripts and any other applicable document with you.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
We will be offering on-site preliminary interviews at this event! There will also be an opportunity to take part in the Physical Agility Test, which is a requirement in our hiring process. Candidates are encouraged to wear workout-appropriate attire if they plan to take part in the physical agility test at the event.
