3rd Annual Henrico County Leadership Prayer Breakfast

We invite all Henrico County employees to join us for the annual Henrico County Leadership Prayer Breakfast, taking place on Friday, Sept. 11 from 7 to 9:30 a.m. at the Henrico Sports & Events Center (1 All Star Blvd., Glen Allen, VA 23059). This special gathering offers an opportunity to honor and connect with colleagues, friends and loved ones as we reflect on the importance of service and community.

In recognition of the 25th anniversary of 9/11, we are proud to expand this year’s event to welcome all Henrico employees, public safety personnel and their families and public safety retirees as well as the Board of Supervisors, County Manager, executive staff, agency heads and their families. Together, we will pay tribute to the heroes of 9/11 and celebrate the strength and unity of our Henrico County community.

  • Program begins: Approximately 8:10 a.m.

We are honored to welcome former Virginia Gov. Jim Gilmore as this year’s keynote speaker. Gov. Gilmore, who served the commonwealth from Jan. 17, 1998, through Jan. 12, 2002, is known for his insight on leadership in times of crisis. His engaging presentations reflect on how 9/11 profoundly impacted our nation, offering valuable perspectives on resilience, unity and the lasting influence of that day.

All county employees, public safety personnel, retirees, non-public safety agency heads/leadership, county executive staff and Board of Supervisors interested in attending this prayer breakfast are asked to RSVP via this form by Tuesday, Sept. 8. Please include the number of children who may be in attendance as well.
