SUMMARY:Victim's Rights Walk and Resource Fair
DESCRIPTION:The Henrico County Victim Witness Assistance Program is hosting a walk & resource fair on Wednesday April 9\, 2025\, at 6:00 pm to commemorate National Crimes Victims’ Rights Week (NCVRW) April 6 – 12\, 2025. We would like to invite everyone to join our walk to raise awareness and show support for survivors in our community. \nThis year’s theme of KINSHIP is a call to action to recognize that shared humanity should be at the center of supporting all survivors and victims of crime. KINSHIP is a state of being with survivors that drives vital connections and increases access to services rights and healing. KINSHIP is where victim advocacy begins. \nThe walk will begin at the Henrico Police Memorial Plaza (located at 4301 E Parham Road near Elvin Cosby Way) and it will end in the courtyard of the administration building (near the water fountain) where we have invited community partners to share vital information on the services\, they provide to support victims. \nWe appreciate your support and the services you provide to victims year-round. \nFor more information you may contact Henrico Victim Witness at 804 501-1680 or VictimWitness@henrico.gov.
