DESCRIPTION:Are you looking to continue your career in service? Then look no further than the Henrico County Police Division! \nHenrico Police is hosting a “Vets in Law Enforcement” informational session on Monday\, Nov. 10\, 2025\, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Henrico County Training Center (7701 E. Parham Road). \nThis is an opportunity to learn about our agency’s role within the county and how fellow veterans have transitioned from their military service into law enforcement. There will also be on-site resources available if you wish to apply. \nAs of 2025\, the Division has nearly 150 employees (sworn and civilian) who are veterans across the six U.S. Military branches of service. These individuals continue to feel a call to service\, now protecting and serving our community members in Henrico County. \nSome of the benefits of continuing your service by joining Henrico Police include: \n\nPurchase up to four (4) years of active military service through the Virginia Retirement System;\nPost-9/11 GI Bill (Chapter 33) up to two-years (2) during the Basic Police Academy and through Field Training;\nFour Days On/Four Days Off Permanent Schedule;\nPaid Military Leave (if still in the Reserves or National Guard);\nPersonally-Assigned Take Home Car\, Cell Phone\, Equipment\, etc.\n\nWe are currently hiring for our 86th Basic Police Academy (BPA).
