SUMMARY:Open Discussion on Domestic Violence
DESCRIPTION:October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. This year\, the Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office is sponsoring an event featuring a discussion panel by domestic violence survivors. \nOn Thursday\, Oct. 23\, at 5:45 pm in the Board Room at the Administration Building\, we will be hosting survivors on a discussion panel about domestic violence. Learn about domestic violence from people who endured and survived. \nWe will also be unveiling “To Another Me\,” a collection of letters by domestic violence survivors. These survivors offer advice and wisdom to others experiencing domestic violence. In these letters\, the survivors have chosen to share what they have learned through their personal experiences. \nWe will also be recognizing members of the Henrico County Police Division who have shown outstanding dedication and service to domestic violence victims.   \nJoin us in supporting survivors and recognizing that domestic violence has no place in Henrico County. \nSee the attached flyer for more information.  \n
