DESCRIPTION:Henrico Information Technology\, Human Resources and Finance are excited to introduce a new reporting tool to help employees navigate recent tax changes related to overtime pay. \nWhy this matters:\nThe IRS recently implemented rules for the “no tax on overtime” provision under the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBBA). This tool will help non-exempt employees organize and calculate their 2025 overtime pay for federal tax filing—saving time and reducing complexity. \nFinance\, HR and IT will host “town hall” style meetings for county employees to demonstrate this new tool and answer questions.  \nWhat to expect: \n\nOverview of the new reporting tool\nLive demo\nQ&A session\nSessions will be recorded if you can’t attend in person\n\nDetails for town halls: \nAll non-sworn\, non-exempt employees working a 40-hour per week schedule \n📅 Date: Wednesday\, Feb. 11 \n🕒 Time: 11 am – noon \n📍 Location: Government Center Board Room \nSworn Police officers and Sheriff’s deputies working a 28-day schedule \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n📅 Date: Monday\, Feb. 9 \n🕒 Time: 2 – 3 pm \n📍 Location: Training Center Room 2029/2030 \n\nOr\n\n📅 Date: Friday\, Feb. 13 \n🕒 Time: 1:30 – 2:30 pm \n📍 Location: Training Center Room 2029/2030 \n\n\n\n\nSworn Fire and EMS personnel working a 21-day schedule \nA separate communication will be sent with details. \nImportant: This tool is provided for reference and is intended solely for research purposes.
