DESCRIPTION:The Henrico County Police Division is hosting two educational information sessions about Domestic Violence during the month of October\, which is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. \nThese events called “I’m Asking\, For a Friend…” will be held on: \n\nThursday\, October 9\, 2025\, from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at the Fairfield Area Library (1404 N. Laburnum Avenue\, Henrico\, VA 23223).\nSaturday\, October 18\, 2025\, from 3:30 to 5 p.m. at the North Park Branch Library (8508 Franconia Road\, Henrico\, VA 23227)\n\nThis is an opportunity to learn more about the resources available to domestic violence survivors within Henrico County. You will also have the chance to hear from officers about some of the signs and symptoms of abuse. \nThis is a safe space for attendees which will emphasize the importance of addressing this issue without stigma or pressure. \nSeating is limited\, you are strongly encouraged to RSVP via this link. Please note\, we will not require your name for check-in.
