DESCRIPTION:The Henrico County Police Animal Protection Unit will hold a rabies clinic on August 17\, 2024\, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Western Government Complex (4301 E. Parham Road). \nRabies vaccinations are $20 each\, cash only! \nRegistration and payment are done first inside the Administration building at the Cashier’s office. You will then proceed to veterinarian on the first level of the parking deck adjacent to the Administration Building. \nHenrico County dog licenses will also be available. The lifetime license fee is $10. The license is for the life of the dog and is valid as long as the dog’s owner resides in the County and the dog’s rabies vaccination is kept current. The license is void if the dog does not receive a rabies vaccination within 30 days of the expiration of the dog’s current rabies vaccination. \nContact the Henrico Police Animal Shelter at 804-727-8801 (Mon-Sat 10 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.) with any questions.

DESCRIPTION:Join the Recovery Court for the annual Bernard Greene Memorial 5K. The event will be held Saturday\, Oct. 12\, at 9 a.m. (the race will start at 9:30 a.m.) at Deep Run Park\, 9900 Ridgefield Parkway. \nRegistration is $35 per person and all proceeds benefit the alumni and current participants of the Henrico County Adult Recovery Court in support of sober activities\, graduation celebrations and family days. A T-shirt is included with each registration. Use coupon code HENRICO for $10 off each registration.  \nThe event is named for our previous administrator\, Bernard L. Greene\, Jr.\, who passed away March 7\, 2019. Mr. Greene touched the hearts of many people and helped others change their lives for the better. He enjoyed running\, cycling and spending time outdoors. We will forever hold Bernard in our hearts for all he has done for the community and the Henrico County Recovery Court. \nThe event also will feature a prize raffle. SUMMARY:October Rabies Clinic
DESCRIPTION:The Henrico County Police Animal Protection Unit will hold a rabies clinic on October 19\, 2024\, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Western Government Complex (4301 E. Parham Road). \nRabies vaccinations are $20 each\, cash only! \nRegistration and payment are done first inside the Administration building at the Cashier’s office. You will then proceed to veterinarian on the first level of the parking deck adjacent to the Administration Building. \nHenrico County dog licenses will also be available. The lifetime license fee is $10. The license is for the life of the dog and is valid as long as the dog’s owner resides in the County and the dog’s rabies vaccination is kept current. The license is void if the dog does not receive a rabies vaccination within 30 days of the expiration of the dog’s current rabies vaccination. \nContact the Henrico Police Animal Shelter at 804-727-8801 (Mon-Sat 10 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.) with any questions.
