SUMMARY:Teen Summit RVA Volunteer Opportunities
DESCRIPTION:Teen Summit RVA is a high school leadership summit designed by teens especially for teens. You must be in grades 9th – 12th to register. Registration is FREE and open until full. Breakfast\, lunch\, and snacks will be provided. Participants will receive four (4) hours of community service\, and event-branded merch. There will be prizes and give-a-ways throughout the day such as gift cards and Kings Dominion tickets. \nParticipants will select up to three interactive experiences ranging in topics from becoming an entrepreneur and the impact of culture to the use of AI and college and career exploration. In addition\, teens will have the opportunity to connect with employers and community resources at the InspireYouth@Work Opportunity Fair! \nThis event depends on volunteers! SUMMARY:Spring 2026 Rabies Clinic
DESCRIPTION:The Henrico County Police Animal Protection Unit will hold its Spring Rabies Clinic on March 14\, 2026 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Eastern Henrico Government Center (3820 Nine Mile Road). \nRabies vaccinations are $20 each\, cash only! Cats must be in carriers. Pets from all localities are welcome. \nRegistration and payment are done first inside the Administration building in the Cashier’s Office. \nHenrico County dog licenses will also be available. The lifetime license fee is $10. The license is for the life of the dog and is valid as long as the dog’s owner resides in the County and the dog’s rabies vaccination is kept current. The license is void if the dog does not receive a rabies vaccination within 30 days of the expiration of the dog’s current rabies vaccination. \nContact the Henrico Police Animal Shelter at 804-727-8801 (open Monday-Saturday\, 10 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.) with any further questions.
