DESCRIPTION:Mark your calendar for the 25th Annual Pet Expo\, which will be held on Saturday\, Feb. 21 from 10 a.m.- 4 p.m. at the Richmond Raceway Complex\, 600 E. Laburnum Ave. \nPet Expo is a unique indoor event where attendees can bring their pets to enjoy a day of fun and excitement with the entire family! Vendors and exhibitors will be on hand offering a variety of goods and services\, including fun activities for your pet. \nHenrico County is a proud sponsor of this annual event\, and you will see representatives from Public Libraries\, Recreation and Parks\, the H.E.A.R.T. initiative\, and the Henrico Police Animal Shelter. You can even adopt a pet from the Henrico Humane Society or Henrico Police Animal Shelter at the Pet Expo! \nTickets: \n\n$8 online for adults ($10 at the door)\n$5 for kids ages 6-12 (online and at the door)\nChildren under 6 and pets are free!\n\nAll proceeds benefit the Henrico Humane Society! DESCRIPTION:The Henrico County Police Division is hosting two educational information sessions about domestic violence during the month of February. \nThese events\, called “I’m Asking\, For a Friend…” will be held on: \n\nMonday\, Feb. 9\, 2026\, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Glen Allen Library (10501 Staples Mill Road\, Glen Allen\, VA 23060).\nSaturday\, Feb. 21\, 2026\, from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Varina Area Library (1875 New Market Road\, Henrico\, VA 23231)\n\nThis is an opportunity to learn more about the resources available to domestic violence survivors within Henrico County. You will also have the chance to hear from officers about some of the signs and symptoms of abuse. \nThis is a safe space for attendees which will emphasize the importance of addressing this issue without stigma or pressure. \nIf you have any further questions\, please don’t hesitate to reach out via police@henrico.gov.
